Description

The responsibilities are for the operation and maintenance of pumps and equipment.   Monitors and adjust equipment as needed for process control.  Accurately collects data and maintains records for treatment facility and regulatory compliance.  Collects water or wastewater samples and performs laboratory analysis and process control testing.  Work is performed in accordance with established policies and procedures.  Plant operation is reviewed through inspection, shift reports and laboratory tests.  Work shifts are subject to rotate with work doubling up to 16 hours straight.  Candidate must be able to work under adverse weather conditions while performing these duties.

 

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and Texas Driver’s License.  Salary will be commensurate upon education, training, years of experience and licensing from the State of Texas.  Must currently possess a Wastewater Operator license, or be able to obtain the required operator’s license from TCEQ within one year.   Good written and oral communication skills are required.
