Monthly Salary $8,452.03 - $10,850.44 *2% COLA effective July 1, 2021
The City of Stockton is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Civil Engineer. Current vacancy exists in the Municipal Utilities Department. This position supervises professional engineering work, including City staff and consultants related to the investigation, planning, design, construction and maintenance of a variety of storm, water, and sewer facilities, systems and projects, as well as to manage and perform the most complex and difficult engineering tasks related to assigned area of responsibility. This incumbent will work a City of Stockton 9/80 schedule: 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Fridays, with alternating Fridays off. May be required to work additional hours and/or weekends as needed.
Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in civil engineering or a closely related field or possession of a valid California Engineer-In-Training Certificate and five (5) years of responsible experience in design, development review or construction management of civil engineering projects, one (1) year of which was at a level equivalent to the City's class of Associate Engineer.

- Must possess a valid California Driver's License
