Clark Regional Wastewater District is seeking one (1) full-time individual to participate in an on-the-job training program to become a skilled and certified Maintenance Specialist. No experience necessary, entry-level position. Primary Responsibilities:
- Train and participate in the troubleshooting, repair or replacement of pump station equipment and appurtenances, including but not limited to pumps, motors, valves and piping.
- Train and participate in gravity sewer line repairs, including trench digging, shoring and pipe cutting.
- Train and participate in maintaining and visually inspecting gravity sewers; remove manhole covers to inspect flows, clean collection system gravity lines, and perform video inspections.
- Train and participate in maintaining a variety of shop equipment, including welders, drills, grinders, and saws.
- Use computer systems to monitor system performance and to record and accurately track operations and maintenance data.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years of age.
Monthly salary range: $4,205 to $5,497
Starting monthly salary (DOQ): $4,205 to $4,808
