Salary: $79,314.04 - $118,984.84 (Yearly Salary)
This is a professional position, working independently under the Director – Utility Services, with a high public profile, providing direct supervision of the engineering, drafting, assessment, plans review, inspection, and GIS divisions.
Responsible managerial work in the administration and direction of an extensive capital project program for the Utility Services Department, including water, wastewater, reclaimed water and solid waste services. Professional engineering work responsible for managing Utilities Capital Improvements Program (CIP) projects. This includes management responsibilities primarily related to the County's Utility CIP Expansion program but may also include Renewal and Replacement (R&R) projects, deferred maintenance items and other project-related management duties necessary to support the mission of the Utilities CIP.
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering or related field from an EAC/ABET accredited university and five years of working experience in professional engineering and project management, combined with a work history of progressively responsible supervisory experience. Current registration as a Professional Civil Engineer in the state of Florida. Valid State of Florida driver's license.
