Description

Pure Cycle Corporations is the service provider for Rangeview Metropolitan District.  Pure Cycle and Rangeview have a large service area incorporating more than 25,000 acres for which they provide water and wastewater services. Currently we operate both water and wastewater systems that provide service to approximately 1,000 connections.  Our SCADA system currently monitors about fifteen sites with CompactLogix PLCs and Inductive Automation’s Ignition Scada System platform.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Applicants must be able to perform the following duties.


Under direction, the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Technician will provide day-to-day SCADA operational support requiring diagnostic knowledge and experience to troubleshoot SCADA software / hardware and process control applications. You will work closely with IT, Water, and Wastewater Operations and our Lead SCADA Engineer overseeing the design, development, proof of concept, testing, and upgrades of the SCADA network communications infrastructure.

  • Continuous maintenance and upgrades to the SCADA systems
  • PLC and control circuit troubleshooting
  • Data communication monitoring
  • PLC circuit troubleshooting
  • System access management
  • License and support document organization and maintenance
  • Maintains technical library materials
  • Programs and generates a variety of reports on system operations for end users
  • Responds to emergency situations as necessary, including after hours
  • Work with the outsourced IT team to ensure security of the system


The successful candidate will be required to complete a background check prior to employment.


EXPERIENCE and SKILLS


Qualified applicants must possess the following experience and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, software engineering or related area
  • Three years of progressively responsible experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of SCADA systems hardware and software
  • Current Colorado Driver’s license
