As a regulated water and wastewater utility, we are regulated at the federal, state and local levels. This adds a complexity to project management, planning, development, record keeping, and reporting. Assets must be managed to extend life, identify critical assets, determine end of life and meet growth and customer level of service expectations. Records must be filed to meet not only internal and external policies and regulations, but also, to create a complete account of asset information including all aspects of each asset and the decision-making surrounding the asset.
Responsible for directing all infrastructure development safely and efficiently. Responsible for capital project identification, development, and execution in accordance with state and local regulations and company Standards and Specifications including Asset Management Plan and Master Plan. Responsible for all new development or new developer provided water and wastewater utility construction from initial contract negotiations through warranty termination. Works closely with Operations to assess utility performance versus the service levels. Assesses new acquisitions and works to assimilate them into the business unit. Supports technology opportunities, implementation and integration. Identifies OpEx to Cap Ex opportunities. Supports reports to the regulators including, but to limited to, State Commission, State and Local environmental regulators. Responsible to maintain ESRI GIS and coordinate data collection working with corporate operations technology team for further development.

Required - Bachelor’s Degree in complimentary field or equivalent experience
Preferred - Master’s Degree
Required - Valid driver’s license
Preferred - State Engineering License, Water and/or Wastewater state certifications
Required - A minimum of 8 years’ experience in project management and waste and wastewater utility operations
Required - Up to 30% of the time within the location.
