Lakehaven Water and Sewer District has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Person in the Water Operations Department.
As a Water Operations Maintenance Person, you will be part of a team that has been recognized by the National Association of Clean Water Agencies for its environmental stewardship and has been a long-standing member of the American Water Works Association. Lakehaven has a service area population of over 135,000 people living across an approximate 35 square mile area in south King County, makings us one of the largest special-purpose water and sewer districts in the state.
Our Water Operations Maintenance team performs field data collection, maintenance, and construction work throughout the District. Maintenance staff will operate hand/power tools, equipment, and machinery to accomplish assigned duties such as, but not limited to; grounds/building maintenance, operating and maintaining valves/pumps, pipe cleaning, installation and repair of water facilities, flagging, excavating, and erosion control work. This position will be assigned to grounds maintenance. Duties include, but are not limited to, mowing, trimming, pruning, weeding, raking, planting, spraying, watering, and general site cleanup/hauling/disposal activities. Position placement and pay is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
