Salary: This position is a salaried, exempt position, with a full benefits package. Compensation starts at $2,631.94 biweekly.

The City of Oshkosh, Wisconsin is searching for a full-time Water Filtration Plant Operations Supervisor in the Public Works Department.  The purpose of this position is to supervise, direct, and coordinate the work programs and daily activities of the operations staff at the Water Filtration Plant (WFP). The position is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the City’s Water Filtration Treatment Plant in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. The position also serves as a backup to several other Water Filtration Plant staff positions to provide coverage and consistency in plant operations.

Qualified candidates will possess an Associate’s Degree in the water or wastewater field.  Qualified candidates will also have five years of progressively responsible experience in surface water treatment operations, with supervisory experience preferred.  A State of Wisconsin Waterworks Operator Certification, Subclass S, Grade 1 required. State of Wisconsin Waterworks Operator Certification, Subclass D, Grade T or 1 desirable and candidates must possess a valid driver’s license.
