This position is focused on researching and providing JEA options for a sustainable water supply and preparing plans and programs to implement a coordinated water supply strategy. Position will be responsible for the management and compliance of JEA’s consumptive use permits and FDEP permits for public water supply. In addition, the incumbent will interact routinely with public officials, regulators, and other stakeholder groups on water supply and permitting issues.

Education: Bachelor Degree required in Engineering, Geology or related discipline.
Experience: Eight (8) years progressive experience in water supply planning and/or water resources engineering to include experience advocating on behalf of regulated entities. Experience performing hydrologic evaluations in Karst geologies and/or related to the Floridian aquifer is preferred.
An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required prior to appointment and must be maintained during employment.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) preferred.
