The Town of Castle Rock has one position available for a Water Plant Operator Supervisor to join the Castle Rock Water/Utilities Department. Under general supervision of the Water Treatment Supervisor, this position performs supervisory and complex technical work related to water treatment operations. This position serves as shift supervisor for 24/7 365 water treatment operations. Work includes operational planning for day, swing, and graveyard shift operations. Supervises assign staff in daily water production, treatment, and distribution. Performs duties in a manner consistent with the stated values of the organization.
Qualifications generally include a High School diploma or GED supplemented by four years related work experience, preferably with at least two years of lead or supervisory experience. A State of Colorado Water Operator- Class A is required and a State of Colorado Water Distribution - Class IV is preferred. A valid Colorado Driver's license is required or ability to attain within 6 months. Successful candidate must satisfactorily complete a driving record check and criminal background check prior to commencing employment.
