The City of Peoria employs a unique Membrane Bioreactor Advanced Treatment Facility capable of discharging 10 MGD of highly treated permeate. With water quality being the #1 goal, Butler Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) meets and exceeds all of the required Best Available Demonstrated Control Technologies' available today. The City of Peoria's Butler WRF is one of only a handful of cities that have gone beyond best practices; utilizing technologies that better the environment, and achieves a stage III water reuse permit for permeate injection of over one (1) million gallons a day. The City's Aquifer Storage and Replenishment well located onsite is such a site, and established the City of Peoria's initiated commitment to continue with an assured water supply for the future.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Experience in a municipal or government setting
- Previous supervisory experience or equivalent training in a similar or previous position
- Degree in Water, Environmental Technology or related field
- 5-7 years of supervisory experience preferably in wastewater
