Description

The Water Distribution Chief Operator plans, organizes, and executes a variety of skilled routine and emergency maintenance, repair, heavy construction, modification, regulatory compliance, and operation of City water infrastructure. The position also performs a variety of administrative and advanced technical field tasks involving the development, operation, maintenance, and problem resolution of departmental/City water and recycled water utility systems. As a lead operator, the incumbent will provide direction, oversight, technical expertise, mentorship, and work instruction to lower-level staff.

$75,476.96 - $95,798.82 Annually

The Industrial Waste Manager is responsible for the City's industrial wastewater pretreatment program, Fats, Oils, & Grease (FOG) Program, sanitary sewer management plan, and other related programs and projects aimed to reduce the amount of harmful pollutants discharged into the sewer, and to comply with the City's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit.
