Twain Harte Community Services District (THCSD) would like to extend an incredible opportunity to join our operations team as an Utility Operator I. Our Operations Division takes pride in delivering excellent water, sewer and park and recreation services to its residents and visitors.

Our Town

THCSD is located in the charming mountain town of Twain Harte – one of the most desirable areas in Tuolumne County. Home to about 2,500 residents, the town has a friendly, family-oriented feel.

Downtown Twain Harte is lined with small businesses, restaurants, an elementary/middle school, golf course and park. Large community events are common, as is a shared sense of pride among residents.

Our District

Our Operations Division operates and maintains THCSD’s water treatment, water distribution, sewer collections and park and recreation facilities.

The water system consists of a 1-MGD surface water treatment plant, 3 groundwater wells, 2 pump stations, 6 storage tanks, and miles of water line that distribute clean, safe water to about 1,600 customers.

THCSD’s sewer collections system consists of 3 lift stations and miles of sewer line that collects wastewater from about 1,500 customers.

Park facilities include a park, baseball field, skate park, stage, bocce courts, tennis courts and a community center.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal Utility Operator is reliable, responsible, and has an excellent work ethic. He/she follows direction in a detail-oriented manner, works well with his/her hands, thinks quickly, enjoys working outdoors and is adept at operating heavy equipment.

The ideal Operator quickly grasps concepts and seeks opportunities to grow in skills and knowledge. Superior analytical skills and practical problem solving is expected.

A positive attitude and outstanding communication skills makes the ideal Operator a great team member who builds effective working relationships. His/her professional and courteous demeanor results in solution-oriented customer service to customers.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Pay: $24.40/hr.- $36.04/hr.

THCSD offers an excellent benefit package, which generally includes:
