Process Control Technician position is responsible for modifying, writing, troubleshooting, and documenting process control and monitoring systems for the City's drinking water treatment plants, pump stations, and transmission/distribution system.
Maintain, repair and assist with design software and hardware for analog and digital control systems. Control systems employed primarily consist of Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), variable frequency drives, motor starters, etc.
Education: Associate Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics Technician, Industrial Controls, Controls Engineering, or similar program.
Experience performing similar duties in an industrial or manufacturing setting or related experience in water/wastewater treatment facility(ies).
An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
