Lakehaven Water and Sewer District has an immediate opening for an experienced Custodial Maintenance Person in the Field Operations Department.
As a Field Operations Custodial Maintenance Person, you will be part of a team that has been recognized by the National Association of Clean Water Agencies for its environmental stewardship and has been a long-standing member of the American Water Works Association. Lakehaven has a service area population of over 135,000 people living across an approximate 35 square mile area in south King County, makings us one of the largest special-purpose water and sewer districts in the state.
A Lakehaven Custodial Maintenance Person has the opportunity to work in multiple settings, serving both the Water and Wastewater sides of our operation. A Custodial Maintenance Person performs cleaning and minor maintenance at assigned buildings throughout the water and wastewater facilities of the District. Routine duties are typically performed indoors in assigned District buildings utilizing a vacuum, buffer, carpet cleaner, mops and brooms, miscellaneous hand and power tools and cleaning chemicals and agents. Minor maintenance includes painting, plumbing, carpentry, and other fixture related maintenance activities. Incumbents are required to drive a District vehicle between locations.
