Purpose of Position
Responsible for assisting in the preparation, review, and approval of engineering plans for in-house and development related projects.
? Responsible for reviewing the installation of new water, sewer, and reclaimed facilities and related documentation for compliance with Seacoast’s standards.
? Supervises and coordinates activities of the work group engaged in various tasks required on newly constructed or existing water, sewer, and reclaimed systems while ensuring their acceptability.
? Interacts with Engineers, contractors, the public, and various municipalities to minimize conflicts between the installation of Seacoast facilities and public improvement projects.
? Oversees line locates, including Seacoast participation in the Florida Sunshine 811 call system.
? Responsibilities and tasks outlined in this document are not exhaustive and may change as determined to meet the needs of Seacoast.
Required knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
? Excellent communication skills, accurate typist, good knowledge of office equipment.
? Ability to make decisions and to work on his/her own.
? Must have neat and professional appearance.
? Able to deal effectively and courteously with public and co-workers.
? Knowledge of functions and use of PC.
? Florida Driver’s License in good standing.
? Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in civil or environmental engineering,
? PE required
? 2 years of related supervisory experience preferred.
Salary: $32.45 to $52.80
