Compensation & Benefits: $64,480 - $100,457 + 10% Pension Pick-Up. + competitive benefits package including health, dental, optical and life insurance, and generous paid time off. 

Take home pay with pension pick-up to $110,503 annually!

The Work You’ll Do… 

Under the direction of the City Engineer, this person will work closely with a highly skilled and visionary City leadership team to help deliver and inspect infrastructure projects across the community.

       Inspect and oversee infrastructure projects subject to City approval or acceptance (streets, sidewalks, and utilities)

       Work on a variety of public improvement and private development projects, including residential subdivisions

       Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and utilities to keep projects moving efficiently

       Measure quantities, evaluate workmanship, document progress, and verify contractor pay applications

       Coordinate utility relocations within the public right-of-way

       Review plans and ensure compliance with City standards and specifications

       Serve as a liaison between contractors, residents, developers, and City staff



Requirements

We’re looking for someone who… 

       Has experience with public works, infrastructure inspection, or civil projects involving streets, utilities, or site development

       Can read and interpret plans, specifications, and engineering documents

       Understands construction materials, methods, and public infrastructure practices

       Is comfortable working independently in the field and coordinating with contractors, utilities, developers, and residents

       Can communicate clearly, document project progress, and prepare basic reports

       Brings a relevant degree, certifications, or equivalent construction experience

       Possesses a valid Ohio driver’s license and acceptable driving record
