Water Treatment Supervisor

Salary: $6,149 to $7,848 Monthly
The Water Treatment Supervisor manages the City's water production facilities, which includes two conventional water treatment plants (24 MGD nominal capacity), a 2,500 acre watershed, and the sampling coordination of the water quality laboratory. The position reports to the Utilities Division Manager and is a key member of the Utilities Division management team.
Plans, directs, and monitors the City's potable water treatment operations, watershed and water quality laboratory for continuous, safe and cost effective operation. Manages and maintains operating facilities and equipment as the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) designated direct responsible person in charge of treatment processes. Assures treatment process adheres to established OHA and EPA regulations, and maintains required documentation and records.
Education and Experience
Associate of Applied Science degree in water/wastewater technology or two-year degree from an accredited college or university in Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field and at least seven years of professional experience implementing or managing the operations and maintenance of a conventional surface water treatment plant.
